Zimbabwean born, T.M. Clark combines her passion for storytelling, different cultures and wildlife with her love for the wilder places, across both children’s and adult writing. Her books include My Brother-But-One (nominated Queensland Literary award 2014) and her picture book, Slowly! Slowly! a Children’s Book Council Notable Book, 2018.

Tina Marie has taught in kindergartens, in schools in Australia and PNG, and to adult community groups, including libraries.

She’s comfortable with switching between interactive and hands on exercises with kindergarten children, to help encourage the love of reading and books, to empowering teenagers to find their voice, to presentations with adults, as she connects her readers.

Tina runs the CYA Conference in Brisbane. She offers a variety of hands on workshops for children and adults, and is always looking for new topics to share. Tina enjoys collaborating with other authors/illustrators in workshops.
