Preferred audience: secondary students
Kate grew up in a very bookish house, with two librarian parents, in a small town by the sea on the north-west coast of Tasmania. She now lives in Launceston with her husband and her very strange cat, Mephy Danger Gordon.
Kate’s books include: Three Things About Daisy Blue (a young adult novel about travel, love, self-acceptance and letting go), Thyla (a story of Tasmania: of darkness, of devils and tigers, and of promises that stay true through the centuries) and Vulpi, a sequel to Thyla.
Currently Kate is working on Sarco, a sequel to Vulpi. She also writes teacher notes for several publishers and is an avid blogger.
Kate is a trained actor, an ex-librarian, an experienced public speaker and workshop presenter and she loves sharing her work with secondary students.
