Candida is the author of the critically acclaimed Yacker – Australian Writers Talk About Their Work Series; two novels, Women and Horses and The Hidden; a prize-winning book of short stories, The Powerful Owl; and three children’s books, including Belinda the Ninja Ballerina (illustrated by Mitch Vane).

Candida started her career in the theatre, and she brings a high level of energy and interaction to her workshops and talks for all ages.  An engaging speaker, Candida – whose interests also include photography and natural horsemanship – is adept at encouraging people’s creativity through their writing.

She believes writing (and life) should be joyful and fun.

Candida lives in Northern New South Wales and is available to travel.
