For children she is best known for My Australian Story: Surviving Sydney Cove, now in its 11th edition. Her most recent work for young adult readers includes The Youngest CameleerThat Stranger Next Door and the verse novel In Hades. Other books include Shakespeare Now! (trilogy): The Trytth Chronicles (The Tempest), Gap Year Nanny (Macbeth) and Changing History? (Romeo and Juliet).

Goldie’s middle-grade books include eSide: A Journey into CyberspaceCybertrix 2043NeptuniaCybertricks and My Holocaust Story: Hanna.

Goldie’s latest junior novel is Gallipoli Medals. Goldie’s latest work, SHAKESPEARE NOW! was launched in September 2018, and is aimed at a 15+ readership.
