From age nine, Josie shelved homemade books in the school library. She received her first rejection letter from Golden Books at age thirteen.

Decades later, Josie has fifteen published books on those shelves, including WogaluccisChickenpox YuckPop Starlets, Snot FunnyThe Bubble, the CBCA-shortlisted Little Penguin and more.
