We, at Monbulk College, highly recommend Creative Net Speakers from Ford Street Publishing. We were thrilled with the enthusiasm and energy from Paul Collins and the team at Ford Street Publishing resulting in a highly successful Literary Festival. The Festival was introduced by Isobelle Carmody who also launched the new anthology, Rich and Rare.
Ten authors (Paul Collins, George Ivanoff, Kevin Burgemeestre, Archimede Fusillo, Bernadette Kelly, Lucy Wise, Andrew Plant, Judith Rossell, Meredith Costain and Scot Gardner) led our fascinated students, carrying their show bags of free goodies, to three workshops. The activities and authors satisfied the diverse interests of all students.
The success of the Literary Festival was beyond expectations in every respect. Paul Collins is so easy to work with, providing assistance all the way. We are looking forward to Comic/Manga/Kamishibai Storyteller/Performer, Bernard Caleo’s visit and to more awesome literary festivals in the coming years.
