Robert is a Melbourne-based writer of junior fiction and picture books.
While working as a primary school teacher, he began making up stories for his students and was inspired to become an author. His books focus on humour and wordplay – making reading enjoyable and rewarding for young readers.
His latest books are Gorski’s Bitemare and Boris Goes Berserk, which was shortlisted in the 2022 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards.

He shares his writing tips as an author and uses exciting visuals to explore the key elements that comprise a good story: setting, characters, problem, climax and resolution. Robert’s talks are best suited for all primary school levels.
