Zimbabwean-born T.M. Clark combines her passion for storytelling, different cultures and wildlife with her love for the wilder places, across both children’s and adult writing.

Her books include My Brother-But-One (nominated in the 2014 Queensland Literary Awards) and her picture book, Slowly! Slowly! was a Children’s Book Council Notable Book in 2018.

Tina Marie has taught in kindergartens, in schools in Australia and PNG, and to adult community groups, including libraries. She runs the CYA Conference in Brisbane.

Tina Marie is comfortable with switching between interactive and hands-on exercises with kindergarten children to help encourage the love of reading and books, to empowering teenagers to find their voice, to presentations for adults, as she connects her readers.

She offers a variety of hands on workshops for children and adults, and is always looking for new topics to share. Tina Marie enjoys collaborating with other authors/illustrators in workshops.
